Midwest Sleep Specialists

Dr. Steven Hull is a board certified sleep medicine physician (by both the American Board of Sleep Medicine and American Board of Internal Medicine), and founder of Midwest Sleep Specialists, LLC.

Dr. Hull has been practicing sleep medicine for nearly 20 years and has participated as an investigator in nearly 400 clinical research trials, with sleep disorders being a primary focus.  Dr. Hull treats the entire spectrum of the currently recognized 80 different sleep disorders, and has developed relationships with leading providers of sleep medicine in the KC Metro area and Lawrence to provide a “one stop shop” for all your sleep medicine needs.

An avid golfer and always one to tell or listen to a good joke, he lives by the Irish proverb that hangs from his wall, “A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in a doctor’s book.”  In addition to being a published author and nationally recognized speaker on sleep disorders, Dr. Hull serves on several advisory boards and has helped to establish protocols for home sleep testing and treatment.

Dr. Hull is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, and a former associate editor for the journal “Sleep” and “The Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine.”

Recognized in 2011 as part of Sleep Review Magazine’s “Best Doctors of 2011”, Dr. Hull is still accepting new patients, and welcomes the opportunity to help others in need of sleep medicine services.
